We asked Andrews about special orders, custom sizes and other commissions. He replied;

"My current passion is wall sculpture based on prehistoric rock art. While I can make just about anything you would like in copper, steel, bronze or brass, petroglyph commissions go immediately to the top of my list."

What sort of special orders have you made recently?

FA
"In the past year I've made myriad variations of the images on my website. For example, the HP-8, Family Group has been revised to include various quantities of children, ages, genders, etc. I've made HP-22, Woman and Children in which the mother became a male and female sea turtle with three turtle children.
To me, this is fun. I don't charge much for morphing my patterned images. (e.g., add a kid to the Family Group for $20.00.)"

How about super-sizing the petroglyph designs on your website? Your largest priced images are about three feet up and down.

FA
"I have had commissions for large sizes of my petroglyphs. I made a six-foot Sea Turtle recently. But please bear in mind that shipping charges on extra-large pieces can exceed the cost of the sculpture. If you have a large wall to fill, consider a grouping of medium sized pieces. This is how petroglyphs are found "in the wild". I'll be happy to consult with you on which images are compatible."

You're working on sculpture in your studio that doesn't appear on your website. Where do these images come from?

FA
"Some of my clients have discovered a specific rock art image of which they've become fond. They will fax or mail me a photo or drawing and I'll send them a sketch and price of how I would create the piece in various sizes.
Unless I'm travelling, I can send out custom orders within one week. Each spring and fall I spend a month in Hawai'i. You can contact me on my cell phone (505-577-4502) and I can get my Santa Fe studio crew started on your project, to which I'll give the final finish when I return."
